Stretch Your Budget with Federal Work-Study Funds

The Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program is a federally funded, need-based program which provides part-time employment opportunities to eligible students to help meet the costs of post-secondary education. Your unit pays 25% of their wages with the remaining 75% covered by federal funds as a part of the student's financial aid package.

Answers to the most common questions about FWS can be found in the FWS Supervisor Handbook.

Contact the Financial Aid Office for more details about hiring a student through the Federal Work-Study (FWS) Program.
